Postpartum Care Services Agreement
Article 1 (Nature of Services)
The Service Provider, through its assigned Nanny, shall offer comprehensive Postpartum care services. The minimum service period is 2 weeks. The basic family unit consists of the mother, newborn, and husband, with additional charges for extra family members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Residential Service: From 9 AM to 9 AM the following day, with a 3-hour daily break. This constitutes a ‘1 week’ service period, equivalent to five days per week. On the last day, the service ends at 6 PM.
- Commuting Service: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, including a 1-hour daily break.
- Nanny: Refers to the individual employee assigned by the company to deliver the Postpartum care services.
- Postpartum care services: Refers to the services provided by the Nanny as outlined in this Agreement.
Article 3 (Work Schedule and Conditions)
- Residential Service: 24-hour stay with a 3-hour daily break.
- Long-Distance Service: The service period is defined as 'seven consecutive days' without a standard day off. The nanny works for 5 days in the first week, 10 days in the second week, 15 days in the third week, and 20 days in the fourth week. This totals approximately 30 workdays per month.
- During service hours, caregivers do not drive vehicles.
- Especially during residency periods with frequent night feeding, ensuring the caregiver gets about 3 hours of sleep between lunch and dinner is essential for effective performance.
Article 4 (Duties and Responsibilities)
The Nanny’s duties include but are not limited to:
- Meal preparation and serving for the mother.
- Postpartum support and assistance with recovery from childbirth.
- Newborn care: diaper changing, dressing, bathing, and nighttime assistance.
- Therapeutic breast massage, sitz bath, and foot bath.
- Laundry and cleaning specific to the child’s and mother’s needs.
Article 5 (Health and Safety)
The Client must inform the Service Provider of any known allergies or health concerns regarding the child in advance. The Provider is not liable for issues arising from the Client's failure to disclose such information.
Article 6 (Extension and Termination)
- For extensions, apply at least one week in advance and pay an additional reservation fee.
- The service may be discontinued if the caregiver determines it is difficult to proceed due to:
- Insults to dignity or authoritative interference in service.
- Demand for medical acts.
- Excessive household chores beyond the scope of postpartum care.
Article 7 (Long-Distance Service Costs)
For long-distance services, the customer is responsible for covering the airfare and transportation expenses. These must be paid upon request before the commencement of the service.
